bello...
sorry but I've never seen this 'blade', and I don't think even that is produced by a famous italian brand...
maybe, but I dont't think so, it could be made by a craftsman knifemaker...
However, I think the knife in the photo isn't very appropriate for the use you want to make
bye
p.s.: sorry for my poor knowledge of english |

one more thing:
the italian for 'hunting knife' is 'coltello da caccia' not 'cortello da cachia' |

I'm sorry, but it's only a low-cost chinese folder.
Can you read any brand on the blade? |

Hi guys,
thanks a lot for you help. on the blade there is no marking but the overall quality is good. I happen to have two Smith && Wesson Extreme-Ops and for the quality is seems on the par.
you guys may have some wonderful knifes for hunting but the friends who made the gifts are no huntsman so they most probably went after the bad ass look of it.
i have two cheap full size Chinese knifes that i have harden for hunting :P and they were like 15 euros but after the hardening they retain the blade very well for my use.
thanks a lot for your kind help again. and by the way as i am from Albania i used to know Italian very fluently but now i don't write it too often and sorry to say i forgotten most of the written.
Cosi statemi bene e buona caccia a tutti. |

maybe,
But so far i have cut electric cables when i needed around the house. and i payed around 35 euros for them. and it have retained the blade pretty well. if i spend some time to sharpen it i can use it as a razor, and it does not get dull very fast.
maybe i dont have tried expensive ones but the common steel used here for the knifes is not as hard as i am willing to pay for. i am willing to pay for a steel used for cutting on a lathe or mill.
but this is my opinion :P |

Diciamo che se qui sopra non ci fossero almeno due delle sue finte identità mi stupirei del contrario.. ma facciamo finta di nulla |
